I started Coursera again!

From last weekend, I started a Coursera again, that is one of the biggest online learning course.

The course I choose is Positive Psychiatry and Mental Health.

The reason I choose the course

Two years ago, I learned Learning how to learn, the most popular course in Coursera.

I started it just because I wanted to improve my English skills, not interested in the contents of it so much.

However, the learning the course was exciting. The teachers showed very interesting videos and introduced many practical skills (but contains some difficult terms related to brain science.) So I have great faith in Cousera.

Since last year, I sometimes feel depressed. I don't understang where depressed-feeling comes, but it prevents me from learning, excercising, cooking, playing games and even working. (Usually I like my work because I like programming very much!)

Of course, I've wanted to improve my mental to feeling happiness and motivative. I tried meditation but it was hard for me to continue meditation. (It's boring!)

I want to know other way to change my mind. Then I happened to remember Coursera and searched the best course for my object.

Contents of the course

Half of the course is "reading", including other websites related to mental health, and the other is "watching videos".

The teachers' English is not so difficult. As slow as many English textbook in Japan. But some words are quite difficult. Most of them are medical-terms.(These words are also difficult if they were written in Japanese!)

It takes 5 weeks to accomplish the course and I need to finish about 20 lectures each week. I suppose I need to spend 10 hours per week.

And I have to do some assignment that will be reviewed by other students in this course. This may be hard challenges for me but I expect this to improve my English skills.

When I finish this course, I'll write a review!
